Paranormal Research, Haunted Places, Ghost Stories in Tennessee

In Alcoa, TN, one of the neatest houses exist. Built to withstand the Armageddon, the original owners/builders were a couple who believed that for as long as they built on the house, they would live eternally. Of course their physical bodies couldn't live forever, and of course Armageddon did NOT occur prior to their death. The wife passed away first and the old man believed she had lost her faith. He continued construction, always adding rooms to the house and hand building this "arch & keystone" style home, with tons of stone & cement. The builder, Mr. Nicholson, didn't live forever. In fact, in his latter years he became so ill that he was noted as saying, "If God doesn't intervene soon, I will surely die." A man with this much faith deserves respect & peace, and I hope he is at peace.

However, for many years the old "castle" - as it is known by some- has been rumored to be haunted. There are those who have said the wife is buried within the walls... I do not support that idea, btw. If anything, maybe her "spirit" is entombed therein. Yet there are many who have heard the ghosts of the past still constructing on the old place, even when it stood vacant, which was for many years prior to the current owner lovingly buying it and refurbishing it with much dedication. Lots of people believe that Mr. & Mrs. Nicholson do live forever, their spirits trapped for all eternity within the house that they hand built until their deaths. It is a sight to behold, simply because so few homes are similar to this one.

I encourage you to visit our main website, www.paranormalspectrum.com - go to the Haunted Places page and the EVP page and the Video page, because each of those pages has more details, more of our experiences there, you won't be disappointed. Hint:If it made it to the EVP page don't you think we caught something suggesting it may be... you know... haunted?

Team Members Tama, Rob, Debbie & Kenny, Tay & TJ researched this gem in the rough. It was quiet an experience. Hope you will visit our website, and continue communicating with us here on Ning. We're also on Facebook. So be sure to follow our research into the paranormal.
